Risks of Fast Food for Teens

"Fast-food consumption has increased in the United States over the past three decades"(womens health). Obesity and Diabetes are becoming to be a common thing to see around. Teenagers especially are most likely to be under these two cases. Students, along with adults as well, are the one's usually going after the quick food. This food group is known to have a menu full of foods high in fat, and many sugars and calories. "People need to evaluate how often they eat meals at fast-food restaurants and think about cutting back"(Pereira). Nobody realizes how harmful this can be towards your health and your body.

After reading this article, I agree even more with everything the article is saying. It is true that teens often do not realize how bad some foods with that many calories and fat can do some much damage to your body in one meal. I learned from this site that "a single meal from one of these restaurants often contains enough calories to satisfy a person’s caloric requirement for an entire day"(womens health). It makes me want to stay far away from any fast food restaraunt and to stick with the eating healthy.
